applying filters to a list of messages stop as soon as a message is encountered
that doesn't match a filter.  at least this happens in a google mail folder.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. select a range of messages in a Gmail folder
2. choose apply all filters (ctrl-j)
3. 
Actual Results:  
the filtering stops when a message that fails to match the filter is
encountered.

Expected Results:  
filtering should skip over the messages that don't match the filter and
continue processing until all messages in the list are processed
