            Bug ID: 298253
          Severity: normal
           Version: unspecified
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
Summary: Alarm times do not update with Daylight Savings Time
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: ltls2 at hotmail.co.uk
          Hardware: openSUSE RPMs
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: knotes

When Daylight Savings Time triggers (in this case, it was the clocks going
forward at the end of March), note alarms configured before DST triggered do
not update along with it. In this case, an alarm scheduled to go off at 1225
was found to go off at 1125 after DST. The hardware clock on my system is set
to UTC.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set your time zone to one which practices DST and set your date and time to
just before the changeover. I used GMT/London, with a date of 2012-03-25 and a
time of 00:58 (allow enough time to make a new note or add an alarm to an old
one).
2. Set a new alarm in KNotes, or update the time of an existing alarm.
3. Allow DST to trigger and your clock to move forward by 1 hour.
4. Close and restart KNotes.
Actual Results:
The alarm time is now 1 hour before the value entered in step 2.

Expected Results:
The alarm time should have remained the same as set in step 2.

System: OpenSuSE 12.1, KDE 4.7.2. All packages are up to date as of 2012-04-16.
