Is it still happening for you with 4.7.x? I've been unable to reproduce that
one, it just works for me although for development reason I restart my akonadi
server quite often (and with different versions even).

In case you still experience this please feel free to reopen. In such a case,
we would need much more information like the actual IMAP server used, if the
resource was stuck because of network loss (in which case it'd be another
symptom of 257722 I guess) and so on.
