Yes I have nepomuk installed.  Semantic desktop & Strigi search are both
enabled.

As answered in comment #c2, above, any and all searches, on any folder, with
any single or multiple criteria, return the same result -- the error message as
reported: 

"Sorry - Kontact
 Can not get search result. Unknown error. ..."
