I can confirm this, but with slightly different behaviour:
Some of the subfolders show one or two E-Mails out of hundreds on the server.
Additionally those shown E-Mails seem to get copied every time KMail checks the
server. I end up with hundreds of copies of said E-Mails (locally, not on the
server).

I wanted to see if this is common problem with my mail setups and tried a fresh
install without migrating from KMAil1. But on this fresh install KMAil2 does
not show any Mail in the subfolders.
