It had worked right until the day I upgraded kmail. Then this message began to
pop up. I deleted that account and created a new one, as I read somewhere that
may help pop3-related issues with kmail2, but to no avail -- it still doesn't
work.

What with IMAP becoming unusable as well (dozens of messages popping up per
second), segmentation fault when I try to send a mail (not mentioning I was
asked for my password, even though it has been saved in my wallet for ages), I
really can't see how kmail2 got the green light. Nevertheless, I would be happy
to provide any information that could help you to solve this issue.
