since all mails are located on an IMAP server I have recreated the akonadi
database by the following steps

> akonadictl stop
now wait until it relay has stoped and than remove (or backup) the akonadi part

> rm -r .local/share/akonadi/
> rm .kde/share/config/kmail2rc
> rm -r .kde/share/apps/kmail2
> akonadictl start

than I had to reconfigure kmail2 (including expire, and filter for mailboxes)

After that I can not reproduce this problem anymore and kmail2 is working now.
