I just added a snapshot of the problem. And here in the excerpt from
.kde4/share/apps/kontact/local-kmail2.rc:

  <Action shortcut="Ctrl+R" name="akonadi_mark_as_read"/>
  <Action shortcut="G" name="jump_to_folder"/>
 </ActionProperties>

1 hour ago, there was a mark as read option in the shortcut menu… I cannot find
the cause of it appearing and disappearing.
