I happen to have both file and directory based address books, and since the
migration, none of them list contents.

If I re-add the directory directly in Kaddressbook and then right click and
choose 'folder properties' it lists '18 objects' and a few K in size, but
clicking it does not list anyone in the middle pane.

Kmail address auto-completion therefore doesn't work

Steps to Reproduce:
try to see my addressbook

Actual Results:  
no one there

Expected Results:  
everyone there

OS: Linux (i686) release 3.0.0-12-generic
