No, KMail 1 bugs that cannot be reproduced in KMail2 are closed. (revisiting
them all takes a lot of time,however).

Note that this report and the comments are not really helpful: The cpu usage
can be caused by totally different operations.

Without some real debugging (memcheck, massif...) there's nothing that can be
done
