Summary: Kmail2 does not offer a way to create toplevel imap
                    folders (only subfolders)
           Product: kmail2
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: folders
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: krienke at uni-koblenz.de

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.3)
OS: Linux

I am using kmail 2.0.96 (actually kontact 4.6rc1). In the kmail component I
have defined several imap accounts that work fine. Now I wanted to create a new
folder at the same level like eg the inbox folder is. This seems to be
impossible since kmail only allows to creaate a subfolder of an existing folder
but not a toplevel new folder. There is simply no menu entry to do this. When
you select an existing folder then the contect menu shows a "create folder"
entry and the new folder is a subfolder of the selected on. However you cannot
select the imap account itself and then create a new folder since the menu
entry to do this is missing.

Creating a new toplevel folder for the same imap account in thunderbird is no
problem.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Create an imap account in kmail and try to create a new folder that is at the
same level like your inbox, trash or other existing folders. Usually you do
this by selecting the imap account in kmail and then select create folder in
the context menu. In kmail in this situation there is no such conttext menu or
any other menu to do this.
