kontact (4.4.10) on KDE Platform 4.5.5 (KDE 4.5.5) using Qt 4.7.1

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Same as always since KDE 4.0.  If kmail is disabled it is impossible to open
the settings dialog.  I can enable kmail by editing the "rc" file but I don't
use kmail, s=o why should I have to do that?
