Summary: Selecting A Folder occasionally leaves all messages
                    immutable
           Product: kmail2
           Version: 2.0.89
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: folders
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: skreech2 at hotmail.com

Version: 2.0.89 (using KDE 4.6.1)
OS: Linux

Started KMail and Auto-opened to the Inbox (only Folder I make very heavy use
of) I selected a message and couldn't reply to it. Selected another and found
out that I could not mark it as unread. Turns out all the messages were marked
like that.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Highlight a folder in some manner without explictly clicking on it. Easy
method for me is to restart Kmail.
2. Select a message and right click

Actual Results:
3. See that nearly all options are greyed out.

Expected Results:
3. Have option to reply, reply all, mark message and print as expected.

There is a workaround to explicitly select the folder. Either by double
clicking it or selecting something else and reselecting the folder.

For heavy users of Kmail I would suspect that they would never notice this bug
as they are always moving around. Anyone who is a simple or sedentary user
would find this a showstopper.
