Actually, Trinity made massive improvements to KDEPIM including fixing
the longstanding timezone problems and implementing complete caldav and
carddav libraries to the point we are largely interoperative with
Zimbra.  Trinity is designed so that it can run in parallel with KDE4,
e.g., it installs under /opt/trinity and uses ~/.trinity for user
settings.

Right now, the work is in a bit of limbo because Trinity is all hands to
the pump on a port to cmake and getting their next release out the door.
