Summary: Wrong characters in IMAP greeting causes kmail2 to
                    hang/slow down
           Product: kmail2
           Version: 2.1.0
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: salem at saberhagen.de

Version: 2.1.0 (using KDE 4.6.4)
OS: Linux

I'm using Dovecot as IMAP-Server and configured "Welcome :-)" as a greeting
message. After adding the IMAP-Server to kmail2 (akonadi) the
akonadi_imap_resource daemon get stuck with 100% CPU. The menu entry shows "No
server configured yet".
Nothing more happens. The mailserver log shows:
Jun 13 00:08:36 imap-login: Info: Disconnected: Inactivity (no auth attempts):
rip=10.0.0.2, lip=x, TLS

I removed the smiley from the greeting message and everything works fine now.
Must be the brackets i think.
Clients like kmail1, Sylpheed or Thunderbird working fine with the old greeting
message.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Wrong characters in welcome message.

Actual Results:
akonadi_imap_resource process with max CPU
