Summary: Same connection should be used if multiple mails are
                    sent for the same transport
           Product: kmail2
           Version: 1.99.0
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: kde at opensource.sf-tec.de

Version: 1.99.0 (using KDE 4.6.4)
OS: Linux

If I use 2 or more mails using the same transport I see KMail opening a new
SMTP connection for every mail. KMail should use the already created connection
to send every mail through them which will reduce load especially for SSL/TLS
encrypted connections as the SSL handshake has to be done only once.

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37-12-desktop
Compiler: gcc
