I suspect this is related to what Kevin fixed with
http://commits.kde.org/akonadi/defb52abc51ba60544257c91895fc29ff9af8dff (will
be part of Akonadi 1.6.0)

Can you check if useExternalPayload is false in
~/.config/akonadi/akonadiserverrc

If it is,
- Stop the Akonadi server (akonadictl stop)
- Delete this line
- Restart the akonadi server (akonadictl start)
