The error message of that mysqld:

110713 16:53:49 [ERROR] /usr/sbin/mysqld: Can't create/write to file
'/home/aki/.local/share/akonadi/db_data/linux-suse.pid' (Errcode: 13)           
110713 16:53:49 [ERROR] Can't start server: can't create PID file: Permission
denied

It turned out that the .pid file owns the permission of root only, that's why
MySQLd could not start.
So it's a bit easier to reproduce this bug :)
