I've just checked the kmail 4.6.1 sources and I found that while the
configuration of extra headers (and picture) is there there is no code to add
these additional headers to the message that is being created. 

Is it possibly corrected in newer version of kmail? If not is there any
timeline for this? Without this kmail2 looses some crucial functionality for
me...
