No other comments and no answer, that makes me really sad :-(

I know that you all have a lot of work to do, but is there any information
about the speed issues? I just wanted to know if there is a possibility to
optimize the speed of kmail+akonadi+mysqld? It's really unusable in its current
state.

As a workaround, I downgraded to the last kmail1 version and i'm happy with it.
It's very fast and i can use 10 IMAP Accounts with many many folders and mails
without a problem. I hope there is a way to use kmail1 in the future, a
kmail1-fork would be really nice.
