Sorry, indeed bug reporting is disabled for kmail (version 1.x). Bugs will not
get fixed for that version, since all development has moved to kmail2. If
possible, please check if the bug also appears in kmail2, and report for that
version.

As for the "more information", I am not sure if bugzilla can provide such
additional information when products/components are disabled.
