Summary: Keeps trying to activate text-to-speech for incoming
                    mail
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.13.5
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: jos at ardispark.nl

Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

I installed Jovie (text-to-speech software) in order to get a spoken
notification of incoming mail. I turned it on by checking the box in my Kmail
account settings. After I got bored with text-to-speech, I unchecked the box,
but that didn't work: incoming messages would still be read. Then I uninstalled
Jovie. That removed the check box from the account settings, but KMail still
tries to activate the text-to-speech system for every incoming mail, which
leads to an annoying error message. The message reads: "Couldn't find kttsd
service - Failed to start Jovie text-to-speech service" (my translation).
I can find no mention at all of text-to-speech settings in any KMail or KDE
configuration dialog or file. How do I turn off the error messages?

I should add that the other actions specified for incoming mail are correctly
executed as specified on the Accounts dialog.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start KMail and wait for incoming message.

Actual Results:
Error message mentioned above will appear.

Expected Results:
No error message should appear.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-25-generic
Compiler: cc
