Steps to reproduce:
1) Open Mail
2) Select a mail and open the message viewer
3) Open Actions menu
4) Open edit entry and choose move to
5) Select a different folder
6) Select a second mail
7) Move the new mail into the same folder

After the message is moved to the new folder the message list is shown as
thread view. It should should the last selected view before moving a mail.
