I retested this bug today and I can still reproduce it.

The result is exactly the same as in comment #2: 'once the user clicks on Mark
All Mails as Read from the 'Actions' tab the tab closes and nothing happens for
about a minute and then all of a sudden all the emails are marked as read all
at once.'

So I agree with Bernhard that a process indicator would be nice.
