It does not seem to be fixed completely with 
windows-ce/Kontact-Mobile/testing/2011-01-17-02-23/
I still get groups like:

"Mittwoch"
"Vor 2 Wochen"
"Dezember 2010"
Vor 2 Wochen"
"Dezember 2010"
