kontact (4.4.8) on KDE Platform 4.5.4 (KDE 4.5.4) using Qt 4.6.3

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I followed the steps in comment 1, in a folder belonging to a (gmail) IMAP
account.  Regarding comment 11, did you have any IMAP accounts?
