Summary: E-mail sending failed: server does not accept sender
                    address
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: sending
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: herr-schneider.m at wir-aus-der.eu

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.90)
OS: Linux

E-mail sending failed: Error on transmission of the message. Server does not
accept the sender address "Schn…herr-schneider.m at wir-aus-der.eu>.
Server-Response: <"Schneider, Marcus" >: "@" or "." expected after ""Schneider,
Marcus""

Profile is set up correctly, smtp did work in KMail 1, Leaving name empty does
not work either.

Looking at the mail headers it appears that the "From" field is set to 'Marcus
Schneider <mailadress' instead of '"Marcus Schneider" <mailadress>'...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Use above version of KMail, set up standard SMTP server + Standard Identity.
Try sending mail.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37-rc7-desktop
Compiler: gcc
