Dealing again with the problem, I removed the default shortcut Ctrl+N to
KNode’s “Post to Newsgroup” action. The menu in Kontact still says File -> New
Article... (Ctrl+N) -> New Message/New Contact/New..., but now pressing Ctrl+N
actually opens a KNode composer window. Obviously KNode and Kontact get into
each other’s way.
