Summary: Access to kwallet fails on first start during a
                    desktop session
           Product: kontact
           Version: 4.4.10
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: Nico.Laus.2001 at gmx.de

Version: 4.4.10 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

The first time I start Kontact, e.g. during boot, it is starting akonadi and
thus requesting my kwallet password. Although I enter it correctly and the
wallet opens, kwallet complains about a failed attempt and that an application
may behave strangely. KMail is thus asking for every password of my email
accounts. Kopete works though without having to enter the kwallet password
again.
I need to close Kontact and restart it again in order for it to get the
passwords out of the wallet :(
This almost always happens!

I suppose this may be some timing issue. On my PC I entered the password very
quickly during boot and it worked as expected (and as with KDE < 4.6). My
netbook however needs a bit more time to boot up and I always see this error as
well as on another notebook.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) start KDE with Kontact in the session - the "starting akonadi" window will
appear
2) enter the password for kwallet (maybe wait a bit)

Actual Results:
access to kwallet and kmail fetching emails

Expected Results:
kmail asking for every account's password

I use the groupware feature of Kontact, i.e. address book and contact's data on
an IMAP server - maybe this is related.
