Summary: Main window geometry unstable
Product: kmail
Version: 1.13.5
Platform: Debian stable
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: NOR
Component: GUI
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: irdyb at o2.pl
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux
I use blackbox with virtual screen twice bigger than physical screen. I want it
is smaller than virtual screen. On start kmail open in the middle of the
virtual screen. It keep resizing, but no positioning. Option -geometry doesn't
work at all. After manual correction of geometry it is no stable. Changes of
workarea, popups, and sometimes change of window move it to initial position in
the middle. Resizing is very strange, unpredictable. Better don't touch. I have
tried also openbox, and fluxbox. The same. Older version (debian lenny) was
better, because was only problem with initial position. After repositioning was
stable. I have tried to dig in rc files, but without effect. Shoudn't there be
some more parameters for mainwindow like XPos, YPos.
