To reproduce: Type a paragraph and move the point to the last letter. 
Now go forward one letter (next line). The “line” number in the status bar does
not change.

Reproducible: Always




OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34-gentoo-r6
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
