Hi for maemo I did follow the Debian packaging (see
http://packages.debian.org/source/sid/clucene-core).
If you take a look at
http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/pool/fremantle/free/c/clucene-core/
there was the same packaging for clucene 0.9.20 on maemo too. I don't know why
the new packager renamed the packages (which is completely wrong imho) and
didn't add a conflicts and replaces line in the control file.

This should be solved in the maemo repository.
