Version:           4.7 (using KDE 4.7.3) 
OS:                Linux

£ character is displayed as i with two dots, upside down question mark and a
combined o and e in the message list, yet displays fine in the body of the
email when previewed and also when the mail is open in full, £ character
displays fine in the title of the windows and in the subject line and in the
body of the message

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
receive a message with £ in the subject line

Actual Results:  
i with two dots, upside down question mark and a combined o and e

Expected Results:  
£

Actually using KDE 4.7.4 but can't select that in the version list, in
Akregator feed list £ display correctly, the attachment shows the problem
