Summary: readonly IMAP should be reported.
Product: kmail2
Version: 4.7
Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: matwey.kornilov at gmail.com
Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux
When IMAP connection is in readonly state by server KMail (akonady?) should
handle it correctly.
Now, I can try to remove or move an letter from one folder to another one.
KMail behaves like when it can do it. But at the next mail check I get a copy
of this letter, because the server doesn't remove it (since connection is
readonly).
Messages from sever like "Expunge ignored on readonly mailbox" should be
handler correctly or at least this message should be reported to mailclient
user.
Reproducible: Always
Expected Results:
A notification about readonly mailbox should appear. non-readonly action (like
move, or remove) should be blocked inside mail client.
OS: Linux (i686) release 3.1.0-1.2-desktop
Compiler: gcc
