Ok,

I give up on kmail as it's clear that kmail will NEVER EVER have support for
exchange MAPI protocol.

Bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60120 which was about having native
MAPI support was marked as duplicate of this bug which has nothing to do with
this bug which is about having exchange access via webdav.

As my company (an certainly many other) are disabling webdav AND imap access
for whatever reasons (mainly stability and security) I'm still stuck with a
virtual machine running windows and outlook...for ever....
