After trying things like deleting the directory .local/share/akonad,
regenerating settings for my mail accounts in kmail, I still could not send
messages yesterday. After rebooting this morning and logging in, however, I saw
a pop up message saying that my message in the outbox folder was sent. Very
strange... At the same time I saw some virtuoso processes running. Anyway, I do
not know exactly why, but now kmail can send messages.
