Hi,

did it work after you re-logged in? I just encountered the same problem with
KDE 4.7 even though I did not attach anything to the mail. Restarting KMail or
Akonadi did not help. Logging out and back in again "solved" it (I'm not saying
the bug is solved, it's just a work-around).
