I reported this bug, however that version of kmail (then in KDE Factory
opensuse 11.3) caused me many problems, including some lost mail. In the end I
had to go back to a previous version as kontact became almost unusable.

Since then I installed 11.4 which comes with kmail 1.13.6, where the problem
does not happen (but of course it is a different version).
I am sorry currently I can't check any further, but I can confirm that this
happened in 4 different installs 3 were 64 bit, one was a 32 bit, not sure if
that matters).

I do not mind if this is changes as "can't reproduce" or "works for some". If I
encounter the problem in a forthcoming version I always can re-open it.
