In version 4:4.5~20100928.1180427-1maemo1.1180334_100308, copying an empty
server folder (e.g. to itself) lead reproducibly to the spinning circle on the
right hand side of the UI (as when loading something). After a restart of the
application, the accounts were gone in the collapsed tree view.

`akonadictl restart` however, helped.
