I retested this today and indeed it is a lot better now:

If Akonadi server is not already launched:
- After 09s the 'Kontact Mobile' screen appears
- After 45s Kmail-mobile main window appears

If Akonadi server is already launched:
- After 10s the 'Kontact Mobile' screen appears
- After 22s Kmail-mobile main window appears

So I think this bug is fixed now.
