I am sorry - but this bug is underspecified so far:

I have been travelling and tried to do mails meanwhile. Unfortunately I often
lost my internet connection (t-mobile sucks). KMail did not tell me the
connection-state. It seemed to me to be not always able to reconnect after the
N900 found another UMTS spot again. Behaviour seemed to get worse over time.
After some time I had to switch of my phone, because KMail wouldnt reconnect at
all. After reboot it seemed to be initially better again - but then quickly
getting worse again.

Unconfirmed side effect: it seems that I somehow lost mails during this connect
/ no connect odysee, but sorry: I cannot provide further info on how to
reproduce that.

Tested with experimantal 20100917.1177596
