Looking in kcm_akonadi and then in ~/.xsession-errors:

akonadi_mixedmaildir_resource_0(1928)/akonadiresource (maildir)

akonadi_mixedmaildir_resource_0(1928)/akonadiresource (maildir): "Cannot remove

So apparently akonadi thinks something is wrong with trash folder. It could be
because I deleted large number of mails from it, and it took much time and I
was forced to quit X session in between, so akonadi was killed. But now I
apparently have all new mail stuffed into mySQL DB and never hitting maildir,
so I cannot even use alternative program. How can I now convince akonadi to
dump database content on disk and reconcile them without losing all mail?
