I can reproduce under certain conditions:

- Start Akonadi, create a mail account,
- Start KMail,

- Quit KMail
- Stop Akonadi,
- Manually remove the DB but not the settings,
- Start Akonadi,
- Start KMail.

The error dialog is then displayed.
