Summary: Applications do not respect connectivity options and
connect via UMTS without asking for permission
           Product: KDE PIM Mobile
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Maemo 5
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Keywords: komo3
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: felix.wolfsteller at intevation.de
                CC: bjoern.ricks at intevation.de

The applications should ask whether or not to connect to the internet (and how
- e.g. prefer WLAN, ask for UMTS).

It has been observed that an UMTS connection was established, without asking
for permission or giving a notification. As this can lead to potentially high
costs for the user, great care has to be taken.
