I totally agree.

I was testing the encryption of emails and suddenly realized that I sent the
email with the wrong identity (with no encryption info configured). I wanted to
cancel but I'd already clicked on 'Send' and the result was that Kmail-mobile
hanged until I pressed Ctl+C from the terminal to shut it down.

If canceling from the composer had been an option I could have gone back and
change the sender identity but as it was nothing was responding anymore,
leaving me with no other alternative.
