Please do *not* hijack this bug with your kdeprefix originated problems.
kdeprefix is unsupported and it's for a reason - I know as I was one of people
implementing it and the one who realized it's not going to work.

This bug is about Akonadi::Control::start() method always returning false. And
it's by no means XDG_DATA_DIRS related. (I don't have to mention that Akonadi
server starts successfully here). So, please do not hijack this bug with
unrelated comments. Thanks.
