Following comment #17 I retested Kmail desktop trunk and the synchronization
works fine for me (see snapshot enclosed).

I was able to send emails from the N900 and read them using Kmail desktop
trunk.
I could also launch a synchronization of Kmail desktop from Akonadi console
successfully.

Manuel, please retest it should work for you now.
