this happens to me too with KMail 1.13.5, KDE 4.5.2.

it started happening after i tried to do a full search in my "Gmail/inbox",
matching where "All Recipients" contained a literal string.  that search
triggered this error for the first time.

the error subsequently appears upon opening unread messages in the inbox, upon
marking messages as new, and sometimes upon opening folders.  sometimes it
appears twice in a row.  restarting kmail does not fix it.  something else
eventually does, but i can't figure out what.

i can reproduce this behavior every time i use the aforementioned type of
search query.  searching on "Complete Message", Subject, From, To, and CC does
not trigger this behavior.
