I had a similar issue, gdb attached showed that it stopped at

0x00007f97d59573c3 in *__GI___poll (fds=<value optimized out>, nfds=<value
optimized out>, timeout=59993) at ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/poll.c:87
87      ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/poll.c: No such file or directory.
        in ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/poll.c

ATM, I cannot use SVN version. Could you tell whether the bugfix was related to
this error?
