https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=238800

Summary: Since KMail is using akonadi, with POP3 every new
                    email check generates duplicates
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.13.2
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: pop3
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: Samuele.Kaplun at cern.ch

Version: 1.13.2 (using KDE 4.4.2)
OS: Linux

This happens since KDE SC 4.4.x
I previously had a working system in KDE 4.3.5 (and earlier), with POP3 account
connected to Exchange 2003 server (keeping last 1 month of messages on the
server), using several filters applied only to POP3 accounts.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Now with migration to akonadi, when emails are automatically fetched (either
manually or in my systems every 30minutes), several last emails are fetched
again thus creating duplicates.

Please let me know of any debugging information you might need (and which tool
I should use to produce them)

I put severity major, as I can't basically not use kmail for working, because
all the duplicates email are always signed as new incoming email, and if I use
the tool to remove duplicates, sometimes an instance that I have read is left,
sometimes not, and so it's now very difficult to track read emails.
